PREVIOUS SPOTLIGHT CALL NOTES
-Position is 100% onsite at Abbott Park and Irving (one position each), no travel
- Product is the Alinity S platform: Alinity S Series is a blood and plasma screening instrument
- Main position responsibility is troubleshooting error codes and the root cause of issues
- R&D type of environment; will work with Scientists and Engineers
- Will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance
- Experience that will be a good fit: Experience with hybrid, complex systems; Field service experience; circuit board level; ability to troubleshoot, service and repair equipment
- Fluidics, Robotics and Electrical experience; Immunoassay is a plus
5+ years of experience
- Experience on resume that would be of interest: 1) Medical device experience; 2) Servicing medical devices; 3) Field service experience, especially medical devices; 3) Electronics background; 4) Biochemistry degree (not required) 5) Maintenance on blood analyzers, hospital equipment, robotics.
