This position works out of our Abbott Park, IL location in the Core Lab Division. Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories, and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments and informatics systems are often the first step in patient care decision making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Job requires a background in Mechanical , Electrical or Bio-Medical engineering.
- With exposure to Robotics a plus.
- Job focusses on the repair and servicing of Immunoassay and Clinical Chemistry robotic analyzers in a Laboratory Environment.
- Resource will be in a dual role; will perform GSS activities; helping out the global service teams, writing out documents, answering field questions.
- Performing installation and repairs on Alinity CI instruments for in house Assay development instruments and traveling to clinical sites to perform instrument service.
- At least 1 yr of experience or fresh out of college.
- Someone who is energetic and flexible and can travel when needed.
