Our location in Alameda, CA, currently has an opportunity for a Embedded Software Engineer.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

Work on software design, coding, and validating software, supporting verification and validation testing, and ensuring that all product development conforms to design specifications and coding standards for medical devices.

Implement software or testing designs efficiently using C, C++, or C#.

Work on problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Bachelors in Electrical or Computer Science or related engineering or scientific field. 4 years relevant experience and a Bachelor degree or 2 years with MS degree.

Excellent troubleshooting skills are a must.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
PREFERRED
-
Good Knowledge on microprocessor architecture, experience in device driver and low level device interface design and development is a plus.

Experience in multitasking in RTOS software design and development is a plus.

Experience in applications programming and/or software development of embedded systems for safety critical products is a plus.

Experience in design, engineering, and testing of software contained in medical devices developed under the FDAs regulations for 510(k) or PMA products is preferred.
