Our Medical Device client in Illinois is currently looking for a Senior Clinical Project Manager to work on a 12-24 months contract with the possibility of extension/Direct hire. The selected person will be working an 8 am- 5 pm Monday to Friday 100% Remotely

the treatment of structural heart disease.

 

We currently have an opening for a Senior Clinical Project Manager focusing on Structural Heart

Valvular Therapies. This role if for an individual contributor who will manage a cross-functional

team, and is a great opportunity for someone interested in fast-paced and exciting global trials.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

 

  • Have ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects.

 

  • Adapt precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop

solutions.

 

  • Plan, direct, create and communicate clinical study timelines.

 

  • Gather input from cross-functional teams and creates plans that help the team produce

deliverables on schedule.

 

  • Ensure consistency of clinical study and processes across clinical trials.

 

  • Oversee and resolve operational aspects of clinical trials in conjunction with project teams and

in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP), good clinical practice (GCP) and

specific country regulations such as site and vendor selection, and preparing clinical trial budgets.

 

  • Ensure the study is conducted within clinical trial protocols.

 

  • Monitor progress and follow up with team members and line managers when issues develop.

 

  • Lead team through clinical compliance initiatives and audits.

 

  • Own and manage clinical trial budget, including scenario analysis, periodic budget reviews and

Forecasting.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

 

Required

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering or Science preferred)
  •  
  • At least 3 years of direct project management (or at least 5 years of related) work experience
  •  
  • At least 2 years of medical device (or related) work experience

 

Preferred

 

  • Advanced degree in a related field.

 

  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, experience hosting large project meetings and driving engagement.

 

  • Effective written communication skills and ability to write professional/technical internal and external communications without oversight.

 

  • Experience in cardiovascular therapeutic area for both pre-market and post-market clinical trials.

 

  • Applicable knowledge of clinical trial regulations for both US and OUS.

 

  • Demonstrated leadership/management skills with respect to achievement of company goals and objectives.

 

  • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.

 

  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.

 

  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.

 

  • Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.

 

  • Multitasks, prioritizes, and meets deadlines in timely manner.

 

  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
